Q:Are your grief support programs open to everyone in the community or only those served by Hospice of Wichita Falls?

A:Everyone is welcome to attend any of our grief support programs.

Q:Do I need to RSVP for any of the groups?

A:No. We ask that you register in advance for any of the children’s programs so we can make sure we are aware of your child's needs and have adequate supplies. The adult groups do not require advanced notice of attendance.

Q:Do you have any grief related materials?

A:Yes. We offer a variety of literature on many subjects available free of charge.

Q:When is the right time to enroll in the grief support programs?

A:We suggest that the children wait for at least two months following the death of their loved one before attending the children’s programs. However, for the adults, you may join anytime you feel the need for support.

Q:Who comes to the grief programs?

A:Anyone needing additional support coping with the loss of a loved one through death.
